• Wingspan : 45-55mm
• Colour : Upperside black, with orange-yellow markings.
• Habit : Occassionally found in forested areas of North Bengal, visits damp patches, generally seen around streams and nullahs, often basks on the ground or on the prominent leaf. Attracted to flowers of Buddleja, Eupatorium, Lantana spp.
• Larval Host Plants : Debregeasia bicolor
• Location : North Bengal
