  • Colour : Upper side dark brown, underside white with row of discal marginal spots.
  • Habit : The Malayan is a butterfly of evergreen forests. This butterfly resembles the Quaker (Neopithecops zalmora), especially in flight. Adults fly low, close to the ground. This species is often seen in forest glades and forest edges. The males frequent cowdung and damp patches for mud-puddling.
  • Larval Host Plants : Allophyllus cobbe.
