• Wingspan : 35-40mm
• Colour : Purple brown, with minute small white slightly elongated spots on both sides.
• Habit : Abundant in places of lower Himalayan foothills like Jayanti, Gorumara, Samsing, Buxa-duar etc. Found along streams and shaded area. Sits with wings closed and sucks moisture, fond of visiting flowers.
• Larval Host Plants : Maesa chisia, Maesa montana
• Location : Throughout West Bengal
