• Colour : Male UP bright red with purple sheen.
• Habit : More common on plains than on hills. Rapid and straight flight.
• Larval Host Plants : Rubus spp., Ougeinia dalbergioides, Melastoma malabathricum, Nephelium lappaceum, Zizyphus rugosa
• Location : Throughout West Bengal
