• Wingspan : 100-140mm
• Colour : Upperside is velvety indigo-blue black, duller on the fore wing than on the hind wing. Fore wing underside is dull black.
• Habit : Primarily a forest butterfly. Flies in a leisurely manner keeping close to the undergrowth, fond of damp patches, visits flowers and gardens.
• Larval Host Plants : Zanthoxylum sp. and Citrus sp.
• Location : North Bengal
