Colour : Upperside tawny brown with broad black apex bearing a tawny band.
Habit : Found in heavily forested areas. Flies fast, suddenly take refuge on a tree or a twig and become undetectable. Sometimes early in the mornings they might bask with wings three-fourths open. Photographed at Chilapata Forests and Gorumara NP.
