Scientific Name : Sarangesa dasahara (Moore)

Wingspan : 30 - 35 mm
Colour : Dull black or brown with small semi-transparent spots.
Habit : It occurs in openings and edges in evergreen, semi-evergreen forests, in deciduous forests, scrub and grasslands. Fast flier, feeds from small flowers of herbs, always keeps its wings spread, rests on underside of leaves, flies both in sunny and as well as shaded areas.
Larval Host Plants : Asystasia spp., Blepharis asperrima
