Colour : Dark violet, leaf like markings on underside.
Habit : The shape and underside patterns of this butterfly resemble a leaf. So much does it rely on this camouflage that it stays still when approached, till almost touched. A butterfly of forested region; rapid flight for a short distance; visits flowers of various plants like Acacia, Leea etc.
Larval Host Plants : Olax sp.
