- Colour : Brown with white bands.
- Habit : They are more forest insects and found where bamboo is common. Active in the mornings and evenings, spend most of the day in the bamboo clumps and undergrowth. Fresh dung, dead crabs, toddy sap and rotting fruit are their favourite food.
