• Common Name : Forget-me-not
• Scientific Name : Catochrysops strabo (Fabricius)
• Family : LYCAENIDAE
• Wingspan : 25-35mm
• Colour : Pale blue. Under hindwing has two small black costal spots.
• Habit : Common butterfly at low elevations. Flies close to ground for a short distance. Visits various low growing flowers like Alternanthera, Tridax, Phaseolus sp. etc. Also seen basking early in the mornings and late afternoons.
• Larval Host Plants : Desmodium oojeinense, Schliechera oleosa.
• Location : Throughout West Bengal
