• Colour : UP dark brown, overlaid with bright rufous scales.
• Habit : Confined to wet hill forests and higher forests. Display flights in shaded clearings. Fond of visiting flowers, bird droppings and damp patches. On the wings from March to November in suitable habitats.
• Larval Host Plants : Achyranthes aspera
• Location : North Bengal
