- Colour : White with reddish lines, the hind wing has a slightly long, white-tipped tail.
- Habit : The species is a regular migrant, very efficient flier, flies fast with rapid wing-beats, moves about low growing herbs or bushes for searching nectar. It frequently visits flowers, bask with their wings half open.
