- Wingspan : 40-55mm
- Colour : White and yellow with black markings and a distinct "hockey-stick" mark at the front margin of the fore wings.
- Habit : Medium-sized butterfly found in dry deciduous forest and scrub; it flies rapidly; easily attracted to flowers; difficult to approach; often seen basking with its wings halfway or completely closed.
- Larval Host Plants : Crateva sepiaria, Capparis rheedii, Capparis zeylanica, Capparis spinosa, Capparis fruticosa etc.
