• Scientific Name : Leptosia nina (Fabricius)
• Family : PIERIDAE
• Wingspan : 20-35mm
• Colour : White with black apex and a discal spot on the forewing.
• Habit : The Psyche's flight is extremely weak, fluttering and always close to the ground. Feeds small flowers such as Tridax procumbens, Alternanthera etc. Very rarely visits wet soil.
• Larval Host Plants : Capparis zeylanica, Capparis spinosa, Cleome viscosa, Crateva adansoni
• Location : Throughout West Bengal
